The 2025 Emmys red carpet has officially rolled out at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles, and if we’re being honest, the fashion is just as thrilling as the awards themselves—maybe even more.
Hosted by Nate Bargatze, this year’s ceremony is shaping up to be unforgettable. Severance leads with an impressive 27 nominations, closely followed by The Penguin with 24. It’s also a record-breaking evening: The Studio scored the most nominations ever for a comedy debut with 23 nods, Ayo Edebiri became the first Black woman to be nominated for both acting and directing in the same year, and Bella Ramsey made history as the first nonbinary actor to receive two nominations in an acting category for The Last of Us.
But before the trophies are handed out, all eyes are on the red carpet fashion. Stars including Edebiri, Britt Lower, Bella Ramsey, Pedro Pascal, Cate Blanchett, Carrie Coon, and Colman Domingo are expected to deliver headline-worthy looks.
The Emmys red carpet has a long history of iconic style moments:
-
In 2003, Sarah Jessica Parker stunned in a pale pink Chanel gown.
-
In 2009, Chloë Sevigny dazzled in a one-shoulder polka-dot Isaac Mizrahi creation.
-
More recently, Zendaya wowed in an emerald Vera Wang paired with her Spiderman-red hair, while Emma Corrin made waves in a nude Miu Miu dress with claw-like detailing.
-
At the 2024 Emmys, Dan Levy impressed in sculptural Loewe suiting, while Saoirse Ronan turned heads in a draped navy two-piece.
With such a legacy of sartorial excellence, the 2025 Emmys red carpet is already promising to deliver timeless looks that will be remembered long after the awards are over.
