Bollywood’s fashion-forward icon Janhvi Kapoor has once again cast a spell with her sartorial elegance, this time in an ivory “dripping saree” designed by contemporary label Di Petsa. Crafted in fluid, crinkled chiffon, the saree’s wet-look texture seemed to cascade like liquid silk, transforming every fold into a romantic visual statement.
Complementing this sensual drape was an off-shoulder, ruched cropped blouse—an embodiment of both edge and grace. The ensemble’s sheer panels and body-hugging silhouette conjured a rain-kissed romance, subtly echoing her late mother Sridevi’s iconic monochrome looks.
Her accessories were no less exquisite—a striking Chopard choker adorned with purple sapphires and emerald accents, paired with matching emerald earrings. This bold choice brought opulent color contrast against the ivory canvas without overshadowing its delicacy.
Hair was styled in a sleek, centre-parted low bun, keeping the focus on the saree’s sculptural elegance. Makeup artist Savleen Kaur Manchanda infused a fresh, glowy look with soft bronzer, defined brows, dove-like kohl liner, and glossy nude lips—culminating in an aesthetic that was both luminous and subtly dramatic.
Beyond its fashion merit, this look is also a deeply personal homage, channeling nostalgia through modern minimalism.
