




Lakmé Fashion Week 2025, in collaboration with the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI), is set to make a grand return to New Delhi from October 9–12, 2025, at The Grand, Vasant Kunj. This marks a significant shift from the silver-jubilee celebrations held in Mumbai earlier this year, continuing the platform’s role in shaping India’s fashion narrative globally.
Celebrated Designers and Emerging Talents
The upcoming season promises a dynamic lineup of celebrated designers and bold new talent. The season will culminate with the spectacular House of Lakmé Grand Finale, featuring a showcase by designer Tarun Tahilian couture. Alongside the show, Lakmé will unveil its new Lakmé Be-Jewel Collection. Overall a dazzling lineup inspired by the brilliance of gemstones, designed to reimagine modern maximalism.
The FDCI continues to advance the business of fashion by promoting the “Made in India” label, particularly through indigenous crafts and handloom traditions. Curated showcases this season include the FDCI x Moscow Fashion Week Presents Hatsibana, introducing international perspectives.Therefore FDCI x Pearl Academy First Cut, spotlighting emerging student collections.
Embracing Sustainability
Sustainability takes center stage with the R|Elan™ Circular Design Challenge, featuring six global finalists presenting collections focused on sustainable, circular, and responsible fashion innovation. This initiative underscores the platform’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of designers and promoting eco-conscious practices in the fashion industry.
