




Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week (BBFW) will take place from 22 to 26 April 2026. The event returns to Fira de Barcelona’s Montjuïc location. Runway shows are slated for 22-25 April, while the trade show runs 24-26 April.
Participants & Collections
Over 400 brands will participate, with nearly 80% international labels. Around 40 designers will showcase their 2027 collections on the runway. Alongside bridal and groom wear, cocktail and red-carpet looks will receive increased focus.
Theme
The 2026 edition is themed “On the Shoulders of Giants”. It honours those who built BBFW’s legacy—brands, women, artists, ideas, and the city itself. The visual concept draws from the creative legacy of Lilly Reich, with strong emphasis on women’s strength in design history.
Exhibition spaces will be spread across Halls 1, 2 and 8 at the Fairgrounds. Therefore the halls will house the catwalk, professional networking, and exhibition areas.
Special Events & Highlights
The Barcelona Bridal Night will celebrate its 10th anniversary. Thus will feature a special commemorative fashion show by an international designer, name to be revealed. Past shows included names like Viktor & Rolf, Elie Saab, Giambattista Valli, and Vivienne Westwood.
Organisers’ Intent & Industry Relevance
Albasarí Caro, director of the event, states the edition stems from gratitude and also from a push for greater awareness and transformation.
