🎨 Design Philosophy: Modern Celebrations

Co-founders Amrita Khanna and Gursi Singh designed Homecoming exclusively for the Indian market, with the intention of blending celebration and practicality.

“I’ve never been drawn to overly traditional festive wear, and I know many women feel the same. There’s a gap in the market for pieces that are celebratory yet contemporary. This collection is our answer,” shares Amrita.

The duo has carefully chosen silk, organza, linen, and taffeta to craft outfits that feel festive without being overdone. Their colour palette includes mustard, cobalt blue, and pink, anchored with subtle shimmer to evoke a quiet celebratory aura.

Homecoming delights with polkas, beadwork, and lily embroidery, adding whimsical charm to structured designs. The collection celebrates asymmetry and deconstruction through:

“The shimmer is quiet and deliberate, making each garment celebratory without being overbearing,” says Gursi.
