Designer Amit Aggarwal once again pushed the boundaries of couture with his latest showcase in collaboration with GREY GOOSE Altius, titled Cocktail Couture with Exon: The Code of Light. Inspired by the glacial brilliance of the French Alps, the collection redefined modern couture through translucent fabrics, sharp geometric lines, and metallic shimmer, bringing together French elegance and Indian craftsmanship.

The runway transformed into a crystalline corridor, where Aggarwal’s sculptural aesthetic came alive. His hallmark futuristic silhouettes met handcrafted artistry, symbolizing a new chapter in Indian couture.

    Couture Meets Nature

Speaking about the vision behind the collection, Aggarwal shared,

“Couture in India has always been about celebration, and weddings remain its cornerstone. But I feel couture should also evolve into something chic, effortless, and modern. This collection is about taking the purity of nature, the smoothness of glaciers, and French sophistication and reinterpreting it through my design language.”

The showcase featured shimmering ensembles that married structure and fluidity, reflecting the designer’s philosophy of couture as both architectural and sensual.

    The Ideal Showstoppers

To close the show, Aggarwal chose Ibrahim Ali Khan and Sharvari Wagh as his muses. Explaining the choice, he said:

“I think both of them redefine the future. Ibrahim carries a legacy but is taking it forward with freshness, while Sharvari has already proven her acting prowess and looks like a goddess on stage. Together, they represent the future of Hindi cinema.”

Sharvari dazzled in a Banarasi couture gown with sculpted detailing and rich handcrafted textures, while Ibrahim commanded attention in a tailored bandhgala enhanced with Aggarwal’s signature cording techniques.

The designer summed it up as an ode to modern luxury, reflecting how couture, like the French Alps themselves, strives for the pinnacle of beauty and craftsmanship.

With this collection, Amit Aggarwal once again reaffirmed his place as a visionary, shaping the future of Indian couture with global resonance.
