Carolina Herrera’s Spring 2026 collection, showcased in Madrid’s historic Plaza Mayor, reimagines the brand’s signature florals through a Spanish lens. Creative director Wes Gordon drew inspiration from the 16th and 17th centuries, as well as the vibrant ‘La Movida’ movement, infusing the designs with regional specificity. The collection features roses, carnations, and Spanish violas, interpreted through prints, ruffles, and embellishments, celebrating Latin heritage with modern sophistication.
Bold Colors and Dramatic Silhouettes
The runway dazzled with 78 looks drenched in color, drama, and bold floral motifs. Models strutted in vibrant hues, from fiery reds to deep blacks, with dramatic silhouettes that commanded attention. The expansive runway allowed for a cinematic presentation, highlighting the grandeur of each ensemble.
Innovative Collaborations
A standout feature of the collection was the collaboration with Alejandro Gómez Palomo of Palomo Spain, who reinterpreted the classic Herrera shirt. This partnership brought a fresh perspective to the brand’s iconic pieces, blending traditional elements with contemporary flair.

By choosing Madrid as the backdrop, Carolina Herrera honored its Latin roots, with the show coinciding with the 40th anniversary of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid. The event attracted notable figures, including Lucy Hale, Olivia Palermo, and Vittoria Ceretti, further emphasizing the brand’s global appeal
