A Childhood Drawn to Art and Creativity

From an early age, Poonam felt a deep connection with art and creativity. Films, acting, storytelling and music fascinated her and sparked a desire to create. While dreaming came naturally, turning those dreams into reality proved far more challenging. Social expectations, personal responsibilities, financial constraints and self-doubt often stood in her way. Yet, every time she felt close to giving up, an inner voice urged her to stay strong and move forward.

The Birth of Avanish Creation             

Drawing strength from her faith, Poonam founded her film-making venture, Avanish Creation. More than a production house, she describes it as a reflection of her dreams, struggles and inner self. Her journey began with short films—created with limited resources, modest budgets and small teams, but powered by big aspirations. Each project became a learning experience, helping her grow as a director, writer and storyteller through every stage of filmmaking, from casting and shooting to editing and post-production.

While success followed her efforts, challenges never truly disappeared. During every difficult phase, Poonam turned to Lord Balaji for strength. She believes that guidance often came not through words, but through circumstances and events, as if her path was being quietly shaped step by step.

Expanding Horizons with Fashion Shows

Alongside filmmaking, Pawse also ventured into event management, successfully organising five grand fashion shows in Pune. The experience brought new challenges and responsibilities—coordinating designers, models, choreography, lighting and music, all while striving for perfection. Countless sleepless nights went into making each show successful. For Poonam, the satisfaction of seeing these events come together was immense, reflecting not only her hard work but also her deep-rooted faith.

A Creator with a Purpose

Poonam does not limit her identity to that of a filmmaker or event organiser. She sees herself as a creator with a purpose—to offer something meaningful to society. Through her work, she aims to portray real emotions, women’s strength, struggle and hope. Having walked that path herself, she believes strongly that while creating one’s own identity as a woman is difficult, it is far from impossible.

A constant source of strength throughout her journey has been her husband. Standing firmly by her side in every situation, he supported her through difficult decisions, emotional lows and financial hardships. He embraced her dream as his own, often putting aside his personal priorities for her success. Poonam acknowledges that while self-confidence is essential for a woman’s growth, unwavering support from loved ones plays an equally crucial role.
