The year 2015 marked a defining moment for the Gunjal family of Sangamner. Coming from strong agricultural roots, the senior members of the family and the younger generation came together with a bold yet thoughtful decision—to build a sustainable business alongside farming. This collective vision laid the foundation for what would later become Smart Square Developers LLP, a name now synonymous with trust-driven and quality-focused real estate development in the region.
The family’s entrepreneurial journey initially began with a dairy business, spearheaded by Mr. Vishal Subhash Gunjal. While managing the venture, a crucial lesson became clear: long-term success is built on uncompromising quality and disciplined planning. Located close to Sangamner city, the family witnessed rapid yet unplanned urban expansion. Instead of following the trend of short-term gains, they consciously chose the path of planned and sustainable development.
This vision gained further clarity when Vishal Subhash Gunjal, Managing Director of Smart Square Developers LLP, along with his brother Prashant Subhash Gunjal, and under the guidance of their uncle Late Mr. Goraksh Gangadhar Gunjal, decided to systematically develop their agricultural land. Their ambition was bold—to offer Pune–Mumbai–level lifestyle standards in Sangamner, while preserving community values. 
Their blueprint focused on well-planned roads, assured water supply, safe surroundings, children’s gardens, ample parking, and modern amenities, alongside creating local employment and business opportunities. Most importantly, the brothers were determined to build long-term trust with customers—something that would become the cornerstone of their enterprise.
From this philosophy emerged the concept of “Gangasrushti”—not just a real estate project, but a people-centric development model. At a time when square-foot-based planning and regulatory processes like NA conversion and construction approvals were unfamiliar territory, Vishal and Prashant Gunjal learned every aspect hands-on, gaining experience through perseverance and discipline.
Their first major milestone came with ‘Aishwaryam’, a premium bungalow project comprising 17 villas, followed by the ‘Sargam’ residential apartment building. The projects were widely appreciated for construction quality, strong infrastructure, and transparent business practices, steadily strengthening customer confidence.
Today, under the Gangasrushti – Srushti Project, homes have been successfully handed over to 100 families. Looking ahead, 168 families are set to move into Gangasrushti’s Sampurnam Project in January 2026, with an ambitious target of delivering homes to 300 families by December 2026, in a phased and well-planned manner.
Beyond residential development, Smart Square Developers LLP has diversified into Ready Mix Concrete (RMC) and actively participated in government infrastructure projects, several of which are currently in their final stages. Plans are also underway to develop commercial infrastructure and a mall within Gangasrushti, further boosting Sangamner’s urban ecosystem.
