Akshay Rajendra Chechare hails from Lohgaon village in Rahata taluka of Ahilyanagar district, Maharashtra. Born into a modest farming family, Akshay grew up witnessing the harsh realities faced by Indian farmers. Despite hard work and rising input costs, the crops produced on their farm often failed to fetch fair prices in local markets, making it difficult even to recover production expenses.
These struggles planted the seed of a bigger vision in Akshay’s mind — to ensure that farm produce earns its true value by reaching international markets.
Dream of Exports and the First Step Forward
While the dream of entering the export business was clear, the path was not. With limited guidance and no background in international trade, Akshay decided to equip himself with the right knowledge. He enrolled in Export–Import (EXIM) training, where he learned about documentation, compliance, logistics, and global trade procedures.
However, theoretical knowledge alone was not enough.
Gaining Practical Experience on the Ground 
Understanding the importance of hands-on experience, Akshay followed the advice of his trainers and began searching for field exposure. After extensive efforts, he secured a position with an export company in Nashik.
For nearly four to five years, Akshay worked closely with the company, gaining end-to-end practical knowledge — from sourcing produce at farms to quality control, packaging standards, logistics, and international buyer communication. This phase became the foundation of his future entrepreneurial journey.
The Birth of Unique Agro Exports
Armed with confidence and real-world experience, Akshay took the entrepreneurial leap. He began independently searching for international buyers online, discussing product specifications, quality standards, and packaging requirements.
In 2022, his long-cherished dream turned into reality when he successfully exported his first container of fruits and vegetables from Nashik to Dubai. This milestone marked the official beginning of Unique Agro Exports.
Overcoming Obstacles and Building Trust
The journey was far from smooth. From documentation hurdles and logistics challenges to quality expectations and market fluctuations, Akshay faced multiple obstacles. Each shipment brought new lessons.
Continuous support from his EXIM training mentors, combined with his growing field experience, helped him overcome these challenges. With every successful container, his confidence, credibility, and market understanding strengthened.
Expanding to Multiple International Markets
Today, Akshay Rajendra Chechare is a successful agricultural exporter, working with buyers across multiple countries. Through Unique Agro Exports, he connects Indian farmers — especially from the Nashik region — to global markets, ensuring better prices and sustainable opportunities.

Akshay’s journey is a powerful example of how vision, education, patience, and practical learning can transform challenges into success.
