Born and raised in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Kavita Parikh’s life began in a modest middle-class household where financial struggles were a daily reality. Like many girls from small towns, her dreams were curtailed early by societal expectations.
“Why study so much?”, “Get married and settle down”, and “Big dreams are not for middle-class people” were constant refrains that echoed around her. These words were not mere advice — they represented a mindset that silently chips away at a young woman’s confidence.
Kavita could not pursue education beyond Class 12. Employment opportunities seemed distant, and survival itself demanded relentless effort from her family. She watched her father work tirelessly in all weather conditions, while her mother sacrificed personal comforts — not wearing gold for 25 years and managing a household that often flooded during monsoons. Six family members lived together in a small tin-sheet room, struggling yet persevering.
A Turning Point That Changed Everything
One defining question changed Kavita’s life forever:
“Is this all my life is meant to be, or can I become something more?”
That moment marked the beginning of her transformation.
Deciding to restart her career was far from easy. Age, fear, lack of confidence, and societal judgment stood firmly in her way. But destiny introduced her to the digital world — an unfamiliar space filled with social media platforms, online tools, and technologies she had never used before.
What she lacked in experience, she made up for with determination.
Building a Digital Career from Scratch

This realization led to the foundation of her mentoring initiative, Marathi Mentor Kavita Parikh — a platform dedicated to guiding people, especially women, into digital careers in their own language.
She began sharing her experiences, strategies, and digital knowledge. Initially, only a handful joined. But authenticity builds trust — and trust built a movement.
Empowering Over 3,000 Lives
Today, Kavita Parikh has mentored more than 3,000 individuals across India. Her learners include homemakers, women restarting careers, young professionals, students, and small business owners.
Her impact goes beyond income generation. Many women earned for the first time in their lives, learned to speak with confidence, and discovered belief in themselves.
“This journey is not just about financial independence,” Kavita says. “It’s about mental transformation.”
From Local Roots to Global Recognition
Digital success opened doors Kavita once thought were impossible. She travelled internationally to Vietnam and Singapore, participated in national-level programs across India, and built a strong professional identity — all while staying rooted in her Marathi culture.
For a woman from a small town, these achievements stand as a testament to the power of digital entrepreneurship.
An Identity Beyond Labels
Kavita’s biggest achievement, however, is not travel or recognition — it is identity.
“Today, I don’t see myself only as someone’s daughter,” she says. “I see myself as an independent Marathi mentor.”
Her story is one of courage, resilience, and breaking invisible social boundaries — a reminder that success does not require perfect timing, only a bold decision.
