On 26 January 2018, Aashapurak Abacus & Coaching Institute was established with a simple yet powerful vision—to make modern learning techniques accessible to children in semi-urban and rural areas. At a time when abacus education was largely limited to cities, awareness about its benefits was minimal in towns like Paithan.
The turning point came when founder Priyanka Tushar Kulkarni learned that parents were planning to send their children to distant cities during summer vacations just to learn abacus. That moment sparked a question that would change many lives: Why should local children travel elsewhere for quality education when it can be made available at their doorstep?
Humble Beginnings and Organic Growth
Aashapurak Abacus began with just two to three students, operating with minimal advertising and maximum dedication. Instead of marketing campaigns, the institute relied on student progress and results to spread awareness.
As students began excelling in school-level competitions and mathematical exams, curiosity and trust among parents grew. Word-of-mouth became the strongest endorsement, leading to a steady rise in admissions.

To ensure students received the highest quality abacus education, Priyanka Kulkarni underwent professional training from three reputed abacus training centers. Her commitment to self-improvement continues even today, reflecting her belief that a teacher must constantly evolve.
She also appeared for a government-recognized abacus examination, securing special merit, further strengthening the institute’s academic credibility.
