Humble Beginnings and Early Struggles
Santosh Jadhav grew up in a financially disadvantaged family. His father was a carpenter, and it was clear that funds for higher education would be limited. As a result, Santosh had to leave school after completing the 10th grade.
After the marriage of his elder sister, the family faced additional financial burdens. To support his family, Santosh began working at a bookstore, but the low wages forced him to take up work in a garage and later in MIDC industrial areas. Even with these jobs, he remained determined to continue his education.
Turning to Computers and Discovering Video Editing
Once two of his sisters’ marriages were completed, Santosh resumed his studies, focusing on the computer field. He started a computer sales and service business, during which he discovered the world of video editing. At that time, there were no teachers or online tutorials available to guide beginners.
Through self-study and practical work, Santosh mastered video editing software and gained proficiency. He then began sharing his technical knowledge with others via social media, conducting seminars across cities including Sangli, Satara, Kolhapur, Pune, Mumbai, Nanded, and Parbhani.
Founding Creative FX Video Editing Institute 
Realizing that seminars alone could not provide complete training, Santosh decided to launch structured video editing classes. In Satara, he opened the first branch of Creative FX Video Editing Institute. His philosophy was simple but effective: low fees with comprehensive education.
Being a professional VFX artist, he ensured that students received advanced-level training, giving them hands-on experience in professional workflows.
In 2023, the institute expanded to Pune, offering training in short films, documentaries, advertisements, wedding editing, and reels, all using the world’s most advanced and free software, DaVinci Resolve by Blackmagic Design.
Impact and Reach
To date, Santosh Jadhav has trained over 1,000 students through online classes, offline courses, workshops, and city-wide seminars. Creative FX has established itself as a trusted institute, renowned for practical, professional, and high-quality video editing education.
