The entrepreneurial journey of Amar Pradiprao Pandit, Co-Founder of a leading food-processing machinery company, is a powerful example of this truth—where family support, continuous innovation, and patience transformed a small workshop into a nationally trusted manufacturing brand.
First Step into Entrepreneurship After Engineering
After completing his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Amar Pandit stood at a crucial crossroads in life. During this phase, his elder brother emerged as his mentor and guiding force. Inspired by his encouragement, Amar decided to enter the manufacturing sector and took on the ambitious challenge of developing a fully automatic paper bowl-making machine.
Despite limited resources, the machine was successfully developed through sheer determination. This achievement later paved the way for the manufacturing of disposable paper plate and bowl machines, marking the beginning of his entrepreneurial journey.
Technical Success, But Business Struggles
By 2018, nearly 200 machines had been manufactured. However, financial stability remained elusive. The disposable products segment offered low profit margins and intense competition, which restricted growth. Managing the business with just two employees became increasingly difficult.
This phase tested Amar Pandit’s discipline, patience, and mental resilience, pushing him to rethink the future direction of the company.
Papad Machine: The Turning Point 
A decisive breakthrough came in 2018, when the company received its first order for a papad-making machine—an entirely new segment. After nearly eight months of rigorous research and development, the first papad machine was successfully built.
In the very first year, around 25 machines were manufactured. Initial models faced some technical challenges, but instead of ignoring customer complaints, Amar personally investigated the root causes. He redesigned and upgraded the machines—even for customers who had already purchased them.
This rare commitment laid a strong foundation of customer trust and long-term credibility.
Growth at Double the Speed
Following this strategic shift, the company began to grow at double the pace every year. Today, the organization employs over 30 professionals, including skilled technical experts and administrative staff.
Family Support Strengthening Marketing Efforts
In the early stages, Amar’s sister-in-law played a crucial role in handling marketing activities. Her contribution in customer outreach, market understanding, and brand visibility significantly strengthened the company’s presence.
Director Rucha Amar Pandit’s Transformational Role
In 2021, Amar Pandit married Rucha Amar Pandit, a Textile Mechanical Engineer by profession. As the company’s Director, she structured the marketing system, trained the team, and elevated client engagement to a professional standard.
Under her leadership, the company’s customer base expanded from 15,000 to nearly 40,000, marking a major milestone in business growth.
A Trusted Name at the National Level
Today, over 2,000 food-processing machines manufactured by the company are operating successfully across India. The organization has established itself as a leading manufacturer of semi-automatic and fully automatic papad machines, and is recognized as the largest manufacturer in Maharashtra.
Through educational and promotional content on social media, the company has reached millions of people, further strengthening national brand trust and visibility.

According to Amar Pandit, this recognition is not merely a symbol of business success—it is a tribute to the trust of his parents, the guidance and support of his brother and sister-in-law, and the unwavering commitment of his wife, Rucha Pandit.
