IFI Correspondent/Nitesh Kumar Report Vindhamganj, Sonbhadra : Traffic has been severely disrupted near a culvert in Jatajua village, falling under the local police station area. A large culvert was constructed beside the house of Babulal Gaur, and about a year ago, the Public Works Department (PWD) built a road adjacent to it.
Now, the road next to the culvert has collapsed, creating difficulties for commuters and pedestrians. According to Gram Pradhan Nandkumar, the road had collapsed some time ago, but the situation has worsened due to recent rains, forming a deep pit.
Officials have been warned that if an unaware person accidentally falls into the pit, it could result in a serious accident. The village head has urged the authorities to repair the collapsed road immediately to prevent any mishap and ensure safe passage for the residents and travelers.
