Magugu House: A Cultural Hub
Adjacent to the suite, Magugu is launching ‘Magugu House’ on November 10. This space serves as both a showroom and a cultural institute. It will showcase limited-edition pieces, archival garments, and accessories from Magugu’s collections. Additionally, it will feature artworks from renowned African artists, celebrating the sophistication of African creativity.
Afro-Modernist Design Concept
Magugu collaborated with StudioLandt to create a two-floor suite with a unique “Afro-English” aesthetic.
The suite includes a lobby, lounge, dining area, bedroom with en-suite, and walk-in wardrobe.
Hand-sketched wallpaper, stone and timber textures, and hand-carved furniture reflect authentic South African craftsmanship.
This collaboration between Thebe Magugu and Belmond represents a significant milestone in both fashion and hospitality. It bridges the gap between cultural heritage and luxury design.
