Julia Roberts made a striking entrance at the 63rd New York Film Festival. She chose to wear Sabyasachi jewellery, infusing Indian artistry into her red-carpet look.
At Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall, Roberts appeared in a sequined grey suit jacket. But what truly caught attention were her earrings: dramatic golden danglers from Sabyasachi.
The earrings were crafted in 18k gold, set with aquamarine gemstones and EF VVS VS diamonds. Their chandelier shape added regal flair to her ensemble.
Roberts’ link with India has been longstanding. Over the years, she has often expressed admiration for Indian design and craftsmanship. She has also occasionally donned Indian-inspired jewellery on global red carpets.
In 2010, she starred in Eat, Pray, Love, a film that foregrounded India in many sequences.
