Bollywood’s beloved star siblings Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan set the runway ablaze as they walked together for the very first time, becoming showstoppers at designer Abhinav Mishra’s grand Delhi showcase.
The event unveiled Mishra’s much-anticipated collection The Shrine, an ode to India’s architectural marvels—carved pillars, mirrored walls, and fading frescoes—woven seamlessly into couture.
A Regal Sibling Debut
Sara and Ibrahim’s playful yet graceful camaraderie made the moment even more memorable, drawing thunderous applause from the audience.
For his debut walk with his sister, Ibrahim Ali Khan donned an earthy gold katan silk sherwani, intricately adorned with mirror work, resham, and zari embroidery. His poised stride exuded understated charm and princely elegance.
Sara Ali Khan closed the show in a rusty orange royal ensemble featuring Mishra’s signature mirror and zari hand embroidery, sequins, resham work, and shimmering crystal fringes that elevated the outfit’s glamour. The actor’s elegance and effortless confidence ensured the show ended on a dazzling note.
The Shrine – A Celebration of Craft
Abhinav Mishra’s The Shrine went beyond fashion—it was a celebration of Indian artistry and heritage. The collection showcased bridal lehengas, flowing anarkalis, and modern separates, enriched with pearl work, sequin dori, kirkiri embroidery, and Mishra’s signature mirror and gota detailing.
Prints flowed across watercolour washes, geometric repeats, floral sketches, and abstract patterns, bringing a refreshing vibrance to traditional couture.
Sara on the Experience
Speaking to ANI after the show, Sara Ali Khan shared:
“It’s all the outfit. I think the silhouette is very elegant—traditional but with a modern twist. I’m definitely comfortable, but I’m always nervous too. Anything you love creates nerves, and I love what I do.”
