Early Foundation: Education Rooted in Engineering Excellence 
Harshvardhan’s success began not in a boardroom but in the classrooms and labs where he nurtured his passion for mechanical engineering.
He completed his B.E. in Mechanical Engineering (2021) followed by an M.E. in CAD/CAM, developing a deep understanding of how design principles translate into real-world industrial performance.
This technical intensity later became the core strength that set DESTOMY apart from conventional traders and manufacturers.
Life in Mumbai: The Struggle Before the Breakthrough
In 2021, he moved from Akola to Mumbai in search of opportunities. His first job as a Design Engineer in a pharmaceutical machinery manufacturing company offered experience—but also exposed him to the relentless grind of the Mumbai local train routine.
Despite the exhaustion and chaos, these moments brought clarity. He realized he was contributing to someone else’s vision, not his own. Observing talented engineers trapped in routine roles strengthened his resolve to build something of his own—something driven by engineering, not corporate monotony.
Accelerated Growth: From Design Engineer to Plant Head
Harshvardhan’s performance quickly elevated him.
His mastery in CAD/CAM allowed him to solve complex design problems, optimize production workflows, and implement cost-efficient engineering improvements. His rapid rise to Plant Head showcased his leadership and technical capabilities.
But comfort didn’t satisfy him. He identified a major gap in the industry—companies were forced to choose between overpriced foreign components or low-quality local parts with no engineering support.
This gap became his opportunity.
The Turning Point: Taking the Biggest Risk at 25
At just 25, Harshvardhan resigned from a stable, respected position and returned to Akola with a mission. He founded DESTOMY.COM, a company created to deliver engineering-led, customized, and affordable flow control solutions for the process industry.
