Indian of the Year Awards 2025 (IOTY 2025), young actor Ahaan Panday turned heads with a striking couture look — a custom bandhgala by celebrated designer Gaurav Gupta. The outfit, dubbed the “Fantasy Creature Bandhgala,” merged traditional menswear with avant-garde flair.
Deep black, sculptural tailoring gave the bandhgala a refined, architectural silhouette. What elevated the look were the dramatic metallic brooches — crafted in the shapes of stags, panthers, snakes and swans — lending a mythical, statement-making vibe to the attire.

The evening was more than a style moment. Ahaan, along with co-star Aneet Padda, received the Gen Z Icon Award for their performance in the film Saiyaara.
Accepting the award, he expressed gratitude to his family, team and supporters — acknowledging how surreal the moment felt given it was his first major award on a big stage.
On stage, the pair even recreated a memorable scene from Saiyaara, adding emotional weight to the night and delighting fans with their chemistry.
