Amrut Anant Tambade, the founder of Amrut Gems in Pune, has built his career from the ground up through dedication, perseverance, and deep spiritual conviction. Today, his clientele spans across India and several countries abroad, with customers frequently approaching him for guidance on personal, professional, and astrological issues. Many come with concerns about failing businesses, marriage delays, or household obstacles—and leave feeling satisfied and supported.
Challenges in the Line of Duty
Tambade explains that while several customers express gratitude after receiving solutions, others approach only in times of trouble. Some call to share their progress, while a few disappear when it comes to paying for the services they sought. Regardless, he remains committed to offering authentic guidance in gemstones, astrology, and remedies.
A Guru Who Lit the Path
Tambade credits his entry into the gemstone industry to his mentor, Pushkar Dinkar Ashtekar from Pune, who guided him during the early stages of his journey. It was Ashtekar who introduced him to the revered Shankar Maharaj Math, Dhankawadi, a turning point that strengthened his spiritual foundation. His mother also played a significant role by placing the sacred text Navnath Bhaktisar in his hands, which profoundly shaped his understanding of spiritual sciences.
Divine Encounters and Life-Changing Moments
Tambade shares that while the Navnaths are not “gods” in the conventional sense, he describes them as extraordinary, mystical masters. He recalls a deeply personal experience where he believes Gorakhnath himself appeared and helped him overcome impossible challenges. This moment, he says, marked a spiritual awakening that transformed both his life and career.
He was also advised to serve indigenous Indian cows—a practice he continues, attributing much of his progress to this sacred guidance.

Originally from Rajapur, he says that if he had not moved to Pune, he might still be working at a local grocery store. His journey from an ordinary youth in a small town to a respected astrologer and gemstone expert is one he hopes will inspire others. His words –
“Leave your village for a while, build yourself, become something—and then return to develop your hometown.”
A Tribute to a Political Mentor
He dedicates his present success to his late political friend, Prakash Ramchandra Katkar, saying:
“If anyone made me who I am today, it was Prakash Katkar. I will remain grateful to him throughout my life.”
