Established on March 27, 2023, Shaurya Dairy Farm was born not merely as a business venture, but as a mother’s promise to her child. Mrs. Badhe began the dairy with a deeply personal objective — to ensure her young son had access to pure, high-quality milk, while also fulfilling her long-cherished dream of building an independent enterprise. Choosing dairy farming as an allied activity to agriculture, she took her first bold step into a sector traditionally dominated by men.

Early Setbacks Test Her Resolve

The journey, however, was far from easy. With limited prior experience, the initial phase brought unforeseen challenges. The very first buffalo purchased for the farm fell ill and died, resulting in a significant emotional and financial setback. Doubts surfaced, and the future of the venture appeared uncertain during those testing moments.

Family Support Becomes the Turning Point                                     

At this crucial juncture, unwavering support from her in-laws emerged as her strongest pillar. Encouraged to rise again, Badhe chose not to let adversity define her path. With renewed courage, she invested in another buffalo — a decision that proved to be the turning point in the growth of Shaurya Dairy Farm.

Building the Farm Through Hands-On Leadership

Learning through hands-on experience, Badhe gradually expanded the farm while personally managing every aspect of operations. From fodder planning and animal health to milking, hygiene, and milk distribution, she took full responsibility. Even in the absence of labour, she stepped in herself, transforming challenges into lessons and determination into steady progress.

A Modern and Growing Dairy Enterprise

Today, Shaurya Dairy Farm houses 30 high-yield Murrah buffaloes and 12 HF breed cows, along with calves, taking the total livestock count to over 50 animals. The farm is equipped with modern dairy infrastructure, including fogger systems for summer temperature control, CCTV surveillance, and advanced milking machines, ensuring efficiency, animal welfare, and consistent milk quality.
