The new 400-square-foot space is positioned not just as a retail outlet but as an interactive hub that gamifies clothing repair and sustainable fashion practices.
Rkive City — Khanna’s Delhi-based design and research house — focuses on upcycling post-consumer textiles and redefining traditional fashion consumption through a “re-wear, repair, and reconstruct” ethos. The brand has gained recognition for its innovative approach to circular fashion, including zero-waste manufacturing methods and transforming discarded garments into contemporary pieces.
Located in one of Mumbai’s most vibrant style districts, the Perry Cross Road shop invites customers to engage hands-on with sustainable fashion practices. Instead of simply purchasing ready-made garments, visitors can bring in old or discarded clothing to be repaired, customised, or reconstructed into refreshed pieces — all under the guidance of Rkive City’s team.
Khanna’s work extends beyond repair and upcycling. His brand has been featured on major sustainable fashion platforms and has showcased collections digitally at international events, including Milan Men’s Fashion Week.
