What began in 2014 as a small English-speaking class in a friend’s living room in a chawl locality has today evolved into a well-recognized skill development institute in Mumbai. Mr. Omkar Hemant Pomendkar, founder and CEO of Om English Speaking Classes, has built a reputation-driven institution that focuses on confidence-building, personalized training, and holistic skill development.
Starting his entrepreneurial journey at the young age of 18, Pomendkar laid the foundation of the institute with a clear mission—to empower students from all backgrounds with strong communication skills and self-confidence.
Building Skills Beyond Spoken English 
Initially launched as a spoken English training center, Om English Speaking Classes gradually expanded its offerings in response to student needs. Personality development courses were introduced early on, followed by Vedic Maths and Abacus classes in 2016, aimed at improving mental calculation and academic performance among children.
Recognizing the growing demand for competitive exam preparation, the institute took a major step forward in 2021 by introducing coaching for government examinations such as SSC, UPSC, MPSC, RRB, SBI, and IBPS.
Continuing its expansion, the institute added Handwriting, Phonics, and Drawing classes in 2024, followed by its latest initiative—coding courses for kids and adults in 2025, covering languages like Java, C, C++, Python, PHP, HTML, and SQL.
A Trusted Name in Ghatkopar West
Located at R. B. Kadam Marg (Ram Joshi Marg), opposite Shivsena Shakha No. 128, Bhatwadi, Ghatkopar West, the institute caters to school students, college learners, working professionals, and homemakers. With both offline classroom training and online learning options, Om English Speaking Classes offers flexibility to suit diverse schedules.
The institute operates seven days a week from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM, a feature widely appreciated by working professionals. It consistently receives near-perfect ratings on local directories, with students praising the faculty’s supportive approach, personalized attention, and practical teaching methods.

Mr. Omkar Hemant Pomendkar has successfully cracked 16 government examinations and has worked with multiple government organizations in the past.
