What began as a vision to introduce something new to Hingoli in 2015 has today evolved into a movement that has put the city on India’s dance map. Sagar Prakashrao Choudhari, founder and owner of D-Effect Dance Academy, has played a pivotal role in transforming Hingoli’s cultural landscape through dedication, innovation, and relentless hard work.
Starting his journey with limited resources, Sagar focused on nurturing raw talent and providing professional dance training in a city where awareness about dance was once minimal. Over the years, his academy not only trained students at the grassroots level but also created pathways for them to reach national platforms such as Dance Deewane Junior.
Launching Landmark Dance Platforms 
One of the biggest milestones in Sagar’s journey has been the launch of Hingoli Idol and the establishment of Hingoli’s largest Dandiya group. Introducing such large-scale cultural programs in a smaller city came with immense challenges, but persistence paid off.
Today, Hingoli Idol, after successfully completing seven seasons, is recognized as one of the biggest dance shows in Maharashtra. The platform now attracts dancers from across India, turning Hingoli into a destination for emerging talent.
D-Effect Dance Academy: A Recognised Institution
Under Sagar Prakashrao Choudhari’s leadership, D-Effect Dance Academy has grown to become the largest and most respected dance academy in Hingoli. The academy’s impact is reflected not only in student success stories but also in the recognition it has earned over the years.

Selected for Maharashtra’s Prestigious Awards
Recognizing his dedication and achievements, he has been selected for the prestigious “Maharashtra Business Icon 2025 / Maharashtra Style Icon 2025 / Maharashtra Fashion Icon 2025” awards.
This honour is being presented by Reseal.in and India Fashion Icon Magazine, celebrating Maharashtra’s emerging entrepreneurs and artists.
