Life tested her at every step, but destiny had already chosen her path. Mrs. Aakanksha Madhav Ghavate (Gulaskar), a well-known astrologer from Nashik, is today recognized for guiding thousands of people through difficult phases of life. Her journey from a critically ill child to a gold medalist and now a respected astrologer is nothing short of inspirational.
A Miracle at the Beginning of Life
Born in 1990 in Vile Parle, Mumbai, Aakanksha faced a life-threatening illness just before her first birthday. Doctors had almost given up hope, but her father’s Ayurvedic knowledge and unwavering faith saved her. This early brush with death became the first sign that her life had a special purpose.
Her family settled in Nashik, where she grew up with her two sisters in a humble but hardworking environment. Her father Mr Vikas Chintaman Gulaskar and her mother Mrs Bharti Vikas Gulaskar always motivated her since childhood. The family ran an ancestral kite-making business, popularly known as “Gulaskar Patangwale.” From childhood, she learned discipline, entrepreneurship, and resilience.
Academic Excellence Against All Odds
Though she struggled initially in school, a turning point came through numerology when an extra “A” was added to her name, changing it to Aakanksha. From that moment, success followed her.

Her brilliance continued in B.Ed, where she again ranked first in Nashik. Counseling skills learned during this period unknowingly laid the foundation for her future profession.
From Depression to Divine Direction
Despite academic achievements, lack of a stable job pushed her into depression. Observing this, her father advised her to study astrology to understand life’s deeper patterns. That decision changed everything.
She trained under renowned gurus at Jyotish Abhyas Mandal, Nashik, practiced for a year without fees, and in 2018 started professional consultations. Her father converted part of their home into an astrology office named “Aakanksha Jyotish.”
Building a Trusted Astrology Practice
After her marriage to Mr. Madhav Janardhan Ghavate in 2019, she continued her practice with full family support. Even during the pandemic, she served clients through online guidance.
