The Beginning – A Young Mother with a Dream
The year was 2002. Surekha Giri was a young mother—her elder son Swaroop was just four years old and her younger son Sneharsh only seven months. Like many women, after marriage she gradually found herself confined within household responsibilities.
Despite her education, abilities, and strong desire to do something meaningful, she was often told that stepping out for full-time work was “not possible.” Opportunities came her way, but every path seemed blocked by circumstances.
One question echoed constantly in her mind:
“Should I stop here forever?”
Deep within, she carried a dream—to work with children, understand their minds, identify learning difficulties, and contribute something valuable to society.
A Turning Point
At this stage, she learned about a course that required classes only once a week. This opportunity became the turning point of her life. She chose Sundays so she could manage responsibilities at home.
But another challenge awaited—the course fee was ₹51,000, a huge amount for her at that time. She had no personal savings. There were moments when giving up felt easier.
Yet she did not surrender.
Putting aside hesitation and pride, she sought help from friends and relatives. Step by step, she collected the amount. That money was not just a fee—it was the first foundation stone of her dreams.
Learning, Struggle, and Self-Discovery
Balancing motherhood, family duties, and studies was not easy. New concepts, new methods, and constant self-doubt tested her strength. But during this phase she discovered a new version of herself—someone who no longer ran from difficulties but faced them with confidence.
Working with children and parents gave her a deep insight:
Most learning problems in children are not due to lack of intelligence, but because of poor concentration, low self-confidence, emotional imbalance, and absence of proper guidance.
This realization led to the birth of

Her mission was clear—to enhance children’s brain potential and help them develop concentration, memory, understanding, confidence, and emotional stability.
Through scientifically designed programs such as Abacus, Memory Development, Study Skills, and Brain Development Techniques, thousands of children experienced positive transformation. Parents noticed not only better academic performance but also calmer minds, improved confidence, and happier homes.

Continuing her vision, she established Blossoms Preschool & Day-Care. She firmly believes that the love, security, and values received in early childhood become lifelong strengths. Today, Blossoms stands as a trusted institution for many families.

Remembering her own struggles, Surekha Giri initiated training programs for ambitious women and teachers who were forced to pause their dreams due to circumstances. Helping many women rediscover self-confidence and independence has become one of her greatest achievements.
