Emerging from an extremely modest rural background, Ankush Patil has today become an inspiring name in the fields of rural digital empowerment and skill development. His story shines as a beacon of hope for millions of young people who often find themselves on the verge of surrendering to circumstances.
Roots in Rural Struggle
Ankush Patil was born into a financially weak rural family. His parents worked as farm labourers, and arranging two meals a day itself was a challenge. In such conditions, dreaming of education was a struggle in itself.
Due to the absence of higher education facilities in his village, Ankush was compelled to move to the city after completing his 10th standard. He had no permanent place to stay—sometimes living in a friend’s small room, sometimes adjusting to difficult living conditions.
To continue his education, he took up odd jobs alongside his studies, including delivering couriers, office cleaning, and assisting with basic office work. There were times when he had to skip meals, but his goal of education remained unwavering. Despite the hardships, he successfully completed his 12th standard and graduation.
Failure, Mental Pressure, and a Breaking Point
After earning his degree, Ankush believed that a government job was the only path to success. For three consecutive years, he appeared for multiple competitive examinations, only to face repeated failure.
Continuous setbacks, social pressure, taunts from relatives, and financial distress began to affect his mental well-being. There were moments when he seriously considered giving up altogether.
During this phase, motivational thoughts and messages like “Congratulations to the failed students” transformed his perspective. He realized that failure is not the end—it can be a signal to change direction.
A New Mindset and the Birth of Entrepreneurship
Instead of breaking down, Ankush chose to redesign his path. He accepted that success is not something to be searched for externally, but something that grows from within.
Rather than depending on a job, he decided to build something of his own. He envisioned working in areas such as digital literacy, financial awareness, employment guidance, and agricultural technology for rural communities.
Though he had no capital, he had self-belief and the support of his family. Together with his parents, he started a small digital service center. Through this initiative, he began guiding farmers on government schemes, modern farming techniques, digital services, and technological awareness.
From Struggle to Trust: The Turning Point
In the beginning, villagers were skeptical and hesitant to trust him. However, when one farmer successfully increased agricultural output by adopting modern techniques suggested by Ankush, perceptions began to change.
Ankush worked relentlessly, promoting the use of the internet and digital services in rural areas. Over time, his consistent efforts bore fruit. What started as a small digital service center gradually transformed into a rural skill development center.
Present-Day Identity and Social Impact
Today, after 12 years of continuous effort, Ankush Patil’s center provides training to hundreds of rural youths, farmers, and farm labourers. It is no longer just a business, but a strong platform for empowering rural society and making it self-reliant.
For Ankush, success is not limited to financial growth. True success, in his view, lies in using his own struggles to create positive change in the lives of others.
