The second day of Lakmé Fashion Week 2025, celebrating its 25th edition, was a dazzling mix of star power and sartorial excellence. The spotlight fell on Veer Pahariya, who made his runway debut walking for the designer duo Abraham & Thakore, and Aditi Rao Hydari, who graced the ramp for late designer Satya Paul’s exclusive collection The Night Garden.
🕴 Veer Pahariya’s Dashing Debut
The Sky Force actor exuded charisma in an ivory bandhgala paired with flared pants, commanding the runway with effortless elegance. Fans and fashion enthusiasts couldn’t stop talking about the playful moment when he blew a kiss and waved at the audience, which included his beau, Tara Sutaria.
Tara Sutaria turned heads in a chic ivory pantsuit set styled with a black tube top, accessorised with a diamond choker, matching studs, and a mini black Lady Dior bag. Her sleek bun and smokey eyes completed the glamorous look.
The Abraham & Thakore collection, ‘Warp & Weft’, reinterprets Indian classics like the dhoti and lungi into contemporary silhouettes. Handkerchief skirts, babydoll tops, and fluid menswear pieces in Ikat Tencel fabrics showcased subtle surface detailing, blending traditional craft with modern refinement. Menswear highlights included bandhgalas, bundis, and kurtas, while womenswear sparkled with intricate embroidery, sequins, and metallic finishes.

Later in the evening, Aditi Rao Hydari graced the ramp for Satya Paul’s new collection, The Night Garden, curated as an immersive experience under a blooming starlit garden. The Heeramandi actor joins the brand as co-creative director, adding her vision to Satya Paul’s signature style of reinterpreting the sari with a modern, versatile sensibility.
