Dr. Gokul Sominath Pawar hails from Gavali Shivra, a small village in Gangapur Taluka, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar District. From a young age, he was passionate about business, though he was unsure what path to take. Starting a business also required capital, which seemed out of reach in the beginning.
After completing 12th grade, Gokul sought employment to earn money. However, limited education made it difficult to find a stable job. He took up various small jobs to make ends meet and eventually joined Aika Computer Class, which allowed him to earn some income. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 lockdown forced him to leave this job.
Early Struggles and Entrepreneurial Setbacks 
After the lockdown, Gokul started a small mobile shop, but his ambitions were larger. Realizing this shop would not fulfill his dreams, he closed it and returned to jobs while attempting other business ventures. Unfortunately, these efforts also failed, compelling him to sell some agricultural land, which created additional challenges within his family.
Despite these setbacks, Gokul found strength in the support of his parents, elder brother, and uncle, who encouraged him to continue pursuing his dreams. He resolved to take full control of his entrepreneurial journey without depending on others, determined to rebuild what he had lost.
Founding Dabest Vision Group of Institutes
Gokul then moved to Nashik, studied the local market, and founded Dabest Vision Group of Institutes. He revived Aika Computer Classes, and the initiative began to gain traction. Seeing positive responses from students and parents, he expanded the business, opening two additional branches, and today the group has seven operational branches.
Vision: Affordable Quality Education and Guidance
Dr. Pawar’s mission has always been clear: students should have access to proper guidance and quality education at affordable fees. To achieve this, he launched the Dabest Vision Leadership Development Camp, which equips students not only with computer skills but also with soft skills, preparing them comprehensively for professional success.
Support System and Mentorship
Gokul acknowledges that his journey would not have been possible without the support of his family—his parents, elder brother, and uncle—as well as colleagues like Vaishnavi Mam (HR Head at Dabest Vision). He also credits his mentors, Rajendra Maule and Sadguru Dilip Anna More, whose guidance and encouragement helped him overcome critical challenges.
