The journey of Nilesh Pandharinath Marolkar, proprietor of Sonali Electrical Sales & Services, Yavatmal, stands as a powerful example of resilience, determination, and unwavering commitment to service.
The foundation of Sonali Electrical Sales & Services was laid in 1995 by Nilesh’s father, Late Pandharinath Marolkar. From the very beginning, the venture was guided by principles of trust, quality, and customer-centric service. Over the years, the responsibility of carrying this legacy forward was shared by Nilesh and his elder brother, Late Sachin Pandharinath Marolkar, who managed the business with dedication and vision. 
However, life put Nilesh through an unimaginable test. In a tragic accident, Sachin Marolkar lost his life, and Nilesh himself was left critically injured, suffering seven to eight fractures in his arms and legs. Along with lifelong physical pain came deep emotional trauma. Overnight, the entire responsibility of the family and business fell on Nilesh’s shoulders, with no external support system to rely on.
Despite these overwhelming challenges, Nilesh refused to surrender to fate. Turning adversity into strength, he made a remarkable comeback. Within just one and a half months after the accident, and while still unable to walk without a walker, he took complete charge of the business. Through careful planning, honest service, and the adoption of modern technology, he began rebuilding Sonali Electrical Sales & Services from the ground up.
Today, his efforts have transformed the enterprise into a strong and trusted name in the energy sector. Sonali Electrical Sales & Services now operates across several districts including Yavatmal, Akola, Amravati, Washim, Buldhana, Nanded, Latur, Chandrapur, and Gadchiroli, serving industrial, commercial, and rural clients alike.
Nilesh Marolkar is recognized as an authorized dealer of Kirloskar Generator and Kirloskar Solar, providing A1-grade solutions for diverse power requirements. He is professionally supported by his elder brother Mr. Santosh Marolkar, with whom he shares excellent coordination and values. Beyond business, the Marolkar brothers demonstrated exemplary social responsibility during the COVID-19 pandemic by setting up COVID care centers, offering patient support and service at a time of national crisis. For them, the blessings of patients and customers are the true measure of success.
Academically strong, Nilesh holds a degree in Electrical Engineering along with a Diploma in Architecture. By leveraging this technical expertise, he has introduced innovative and sustainable solutions in generators and solar energy, aligning his business with the future of clean and reliable power.
