At the recent Bollywood Hungama India Entertainment Awards 2025, Bhumi Pednekar delivered a striking fashion moment as she revived a look from iconic designer Nikhil Thampi’s “Indian Punk” archive — fusing heritage silhouettes with bold, contemporary attitude.
For the occasion, Bhumi donned a metallic gold, full-length skirt paired with a deep-brown structured long coat with sharply defined shoulders — a modern reinterpretation of Indian punk aesthetics. She completed the look with custom earrings from Shri Paramani Jewels and a curated mix of regal-quaint accessories, allowing the sculptural silhouette and rich textures to take center stage.
Her styling was deliberately understated — straight hair, minimal makeup — letting the bold outfit speak for itself.
In another version of her red-carpet edit, Bhumi opted for an all-black Nikhil Thampi ensemble, where sheer sleeves were reimagined as kundan-studded gloves, paired with a tied-waist skirt, a kundan choker and earrings, and a cropped faux-fur jacket — infusing ceremonial glamour with punk-era defiance.
