For over 25 years, Mohan Bhagwat Rane has been a pioneering force in computer education in Nagpur, Maharashtra. From humble beginnings with just three computers, he established Mega Soft Technologies, now equipped with over 70 upgraded laptops, providing computer training, software education, and placement services to thousands of students across the region.
Leadership and Vision
Mr. Rane has held pivotal roles in shaping technical education in Maharashtra. He has served as President of Nagpur Technical Education Society and as the Examination Controller of Maharashtra Computer and Technical Education Council, where he contributed significantly to standardizing and expanding computer training programs.
Mega Soft Technologies: Growth and Impact
Founded by Mr. Rane, Mega Soft Technologies has grown from a small training center to a major hub for technology education. Beyond conventional training, Mega Soft has actively focused on social impact initiatives, conducting awareness programs in over 100 schools in Nagpur through an NGO, providing scholarships to over 5,000 students from SC, ST, and OBC categories, and offering free computer training to 1,500 students below the poverty line (BPL).
The institute continues to empower students not only with technical skills but also with career opportunities through placement services, ensuring that its trainees are industry-ready.
