True success is often born from passion, persistence, and the courage to follow one’s inner calling. Such is the remarkable journey of Anagha Abhimanyu Kamble, a beauty professional, academician, and entrepreneur who transformed her lifelong love for beauty into a respected brand—Anagha’s Salon and Academy.
Early Passion That Defied Expectations
Anagha’s interest in beauty and aesthetics began in childhood. She was academically bright during her school and college years, and her family expected her to pursue competitive examinations such as MPSC or UPSC. However, her heart belonged to the beauty industry.
While studying in the 12th standard, she secretly saved her pocket money and enrolled in a basic beauty course for just ₹2,000, learning from a friend. Alongside college studies, she worked part-time for as little as ₹200 per month, focusing not on income, but on mastering her craft. For Anagha, quality of work always mattered more than money.
Marriage, Motherhood, and an Unfinished Dream
Anagha got married in the final year of her graduation. New responsibilities, a new home, and family expectations left little space for her professional dreams. She did not receive formal permission from her husband to pursue a career in the beauty field. Yet, her skills and passion could not be suppressed.
After her first child, she attempted to start her own beauty business, but it did not succeed. Pregnant with her second child, she returned to practice at a local beauty parlour to continue learning and refining her skills. Though her work was appreciated, she knew she did not want a job—she wanted her own identity.
A Turning Point That Changed Everything 
Living in a modest 1BHK flat, Anagha resumed her work from a small corner of her home, despite opposition from family members. The space was small, but her dreams were vast.
A defining moment came when she was invited as a chief guest to her former school. The honor she received on stage made her realize her true potential—that she could become an inspiration to others. A meeting with senior alumna Geeta Nayak Madam further strengthened her resolve to do something meaningful in her field.
That day marked the beginning of her journey toward advanced professional education.
The Struggle for Advanced Learning
With two very young children—aged five and two—Anagha began traveling daily from Navi Mumbai to Mahim, a grueling 3–4 hour commute, after receiving reluctant permission from her family.
She pursued skin and hair courses while continuing household responsibilities. Her dream of mastering makeup remained unfulfilled due to lack of funds and approval, until mentor Pandhari Dada informally guided her, recognizing her talent and dedication—without charging any fees.
Inspired by the work of Maya Paranjape, Anagha realized that beauty is not just an art, but a science.
From Beauty to Nutrition: A New Dimension
Anagha observed that true beauty reflects only when the body is nourished from within. This realization led her to study nutrition and dietetics. Despite financial constraints, language barriers, and a non-science background, she persisted.
She learned basic science through children’s YouTube videos, strengthened her foundation, and successfully completed her Diploma in Dietetics, earning the identity of Dietitian Anagha.
During this phase, she rented a small shop in her residential building while managing her home, children, and studies—ignoring societal criticism and staying focused on her vision.
Academic Excellence and the ‘Doctor’ Title
Her thirst for knowledge did not stop there. Anagha pursued Cosmetology, followed by a bold decision to undertake a PhD in Skin Science—a choice that surprised many around her.
Completing her PhD and earning the title ‘Dr. Anagha’ became one of the proudest moments of her life—a symbol of self-belief, perseverance, and personal victory.
Growth of Anagha’s Salon and Academy
What started as a 10×10 ft salon gradually grew into a 600 sq. ft. professional setup—Anagha’s Salon and Academy. Along the way, she received strong emotional support from her staff, family members, and close friends.
In a remarkable turn of events, the same husband who once opposed her career later offered to invest in expanding her business, marking a new chapter of trust and growth.
Though one attempt at opening a second branch did not succeed, Anagha redirected her energy toward workshops, seminars, classes, and professional training, aligning with her passion for teaching.
A Complete Beauty Expert and Mentor
Today, Anagha is a complete beauty expert, trained in:

She continues to attend workshops, seminars, and business meetings, constantly upgrading her skills while managing both family and business responsibilities.

Anagha never viewed business as a risk—she always enjoyed her work. Even during moments of self-doubt, her creative spirit and poetic soul kept her going.
Her journey stands as a powerful message: self-belief builds confidence, but knowledge makes it unstoppable. By nurturing her passions, managing stress, and staying committed to lifelong learning, Anagha Abhimanyu Kamble continues her journey toward greater success.
