Today, his educational venture, Bajad Group of Institutes, has emerged as a trusted name for quality-driven, value-based, and inclusive education.
An Inspiring Journey Beginning in Rural Maharashtra
The Bajad Group of Institutes operates under the Late Sakharamji Bajad Multi-Purpose Rural Development Organization, Nertalsa. The institution’s goal extends far beyond issuing degrees—it seeks to integrate education with vision, sacrifice, foresight, and social responsibility.
For students from rural backgrounds, the institute has grown into a strong academic center that provides opportunity, stability, and hope close to home.
From Education to Experience: The Journey of Radheshyam Bajad
Founder Radheshyam Babanrao Bajad completed his B.Tech in Food Technology between 2010 and 2014. During this period, he studied at Gnyanjyoti Gurukul in Parbhani, where he also gained hands-on experience in academic management.
This exposure allowed him to closely understand the educational, financial, and social challenges faced by rural students and their families. Due to the lack of quality institutions in villages, students were often forced to migrate to cities like Parbhani and Latur, placing heavy economic and emotional pressure on families.
This reality inspired Bajad to envision quality residential education within the village or district itself.
From Teacher to Educationist 
After completing his M.Tech between 2015 and 2017, Radheshyam Bajad worked as an Assistant Professor at Annatantragyan College, Udgir, and later as a Senior Research Assistant at the Dairy Technology College in Pusad.
These roles enriched his experience in teaching, research, and academic administration, strengthening his resolve to build an institution that balances academic excellence with human values.
A Life Partner Who Strengthened the Mission
In 2020, Radheshyam Bajad married Mrs. Chhaya Bajad, who soon became not only his life partner but also a pillar of strength in his educational mission. Her support played a crucial role in transforming vision into reality.
Gnyansangam Gurukul: A Courageous Beginning
In April 2022, deeply affected by the condition of rural education, the couple took a bold step. With the support of local collaborators and villagers, they established “Gnyansangam Gurukul” in Washim district, following the traditional Gurukul education system.
This institution became the foundation stone of the Bajad Group of Institutes.
PhD, Responsibility, and a Phase of Struggle
Around the same time, Radheshyam Bajad secured admission for a PhD at a university in Andhra Pradesh. Just two months after the Gurukul began operations, he had to relocate for his studies.
During this challenging phase, Mrs. Chhaya Bajad single-handedly managed the Gurukul—from kitchen operations and classroom management to student safety, discipline, and communication with parents. Her 24×7 dedication ensured the institution’s survival during its most vulnerable year.
The first year was difficult, but it laid a strong foundation built on resilience and commitment.
Growth Amid Challenges
In the second year, the institution faced financial and administrative challenges, but consistent efforts and positive thinking helped overcome them. During this period, the Gurukul shifted to a new building, and a new academic initiative—Bajad Coaching Classes, Washim—was launched.
Today, Gnyansangam Gurukul and Bajad Coaching Classes together educate between 55 and 65 students.
New Initiatives, New Horizons
After three successful years, the institute entered its fourth year with renewed momentum. Two new initiatives were launched in Nertalsa:

Gnyankunj Coaching Classes, Nertalsa

Gnyansangam Pre-Primary English School, Nertalsa
Currently, Gnyankunj Coaching Classes caters to over 60 students from Classes 1 to 10. The Gnyansangam Pre-Primary English School is scheduled to begin operations from the 2026–27 academic session.

Today, Bajad Group of Institutes stands as a symbol of quality, affordability, and trust in rural Maharashtra. Its success represents not just institutional growth, but a meaningful step toward a brighter future for rural India.

Selected for Maharashtra’s Prestigious Awards
Recognizing his dedication and achievements, he has been selected for the prestigious “Maharashtra Business Icon 2025 / Maharashtra Style Icon 2025 / Maharashtra Fashion Icon 2025” awards.
This honour is being presented by Reseal.in and India Fashion Icon Magazine, celebrating Maharashtra’s emerging entrepreneurs and artists.
The selection marks a proud moment not only for him, but also for the entire region.
