It is often said that a person’s destiny is not written in the lines of their palm, but in the drops of sweat they shed. Few lives reflect this truth as powerfully as that of Deepak Vijay Khedekar.
Born on 5 April 1991 in Shivni Pisa village of Lonar taluka, Buldhana district (Maharashtra), Deepak’s childhood was shaped by hardship. With education available only up to the 10th standard in his village, he walked 5–6 kilometers daily to the neighboring village of Anjani to continue his studies—undaunted by heat, rain, or storms.
After completing his graduation in 2013, the search for employment brought him to Mumbai.
Following his marriage in 2014, Deepak settled in Pune in 2015. From 2015 to 2019, he balanced a full-time job with a part-time agarbatti-selling business, gradually stabilizing his life.
Just as things seemed to fall into place, the COVID-19 pandemic struck. Lockdowns led to job loss, income vanished, and uncertainty loomed large. During quarantine, social media became his only window to the outside world.
Falling, Rising, and Refusing to Quit
After lockdown restrictions eased, Deepak returned to Pune, only to face another setback—he tested COVID-positive. Due to his health status, no employer was willing to hire him.
In this difficult phase, he accepted a night-shift security guard job, believing no work was too small. Using his earnings, PF savings, and by pledging his wife’s jewelry, he started a small mess (khānāwal) business.
Unfortunately, fraud by employees caused major financial losses, forcing him to shut the venture and return to his village. Yet, his dreams remained intact.
RMP Enterprises: A Trinity Built on Trust
Back in his village, Deepak resolved to rebuild. This phase introduced two life-changing individuals—Prashant Mohite (Pune) and Manjiri Chavan (Satara).
Prashant’s discipline and commitment proved vital for business stability, while Manjiri provided emotional strength during Deepak’s most vulnerable period. Her belief—“You can stand again”—rekindled his confidence.
What began as collaboration soon became deep friendship. Together, the trio founded RMP Enterprises, stepping firmly into agarbatti manufacturing.
When Nature Tested Resolve, Humanity Restored Hope
In the early days, poor-quality raw material resulted in losses worth nearly ₹3.5 lakh. Attempting to recover, Deepak repaired the damaged products and took them to a weekly market.
Sudden heavy rain soaked all the agarbattis, leaving him penniless. At that moment, farmer Eknath Bhandare from Vadhu Budruk emerged as a lifesaver, extending much-needed help.
Soon after, a powerful storm blew away the factory’s tin shed, destroying stock in mud and water. Broken in spirit, Deepak shut the business doors that day. 
A Journey of Learning Across India
Though the shutters were down, determination was alive. Deepak embarked on a two-month market research journey across India—Indore, Surat, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Hubballi.
This journey taught him the most valuable lesson of his life: the art of understanding people.
“Today,” he says, “I can tell by looking at someone whether they have come to help—or to exploit.”
Soul Haven: A Brand Born from Experience
Armed with experience and clarity, Deepak went on to establish not one, but two successful enterprises:

Alongside these, he launched his premium brand ‘Soul Haven’, which today is exported not only across India but also to international markets. What began from zero has now crossed oceans.

Today, Deepak Vijay Khedekar continues to write new chapters of success with his trusted partners Prashant Mohite and Manjiri Chavan. Prashant’s discipline, Manjiri’s emotional support, and his wife’s unwavering faith form the foundation of this journey.

From a small village in Buldhana to the global marketplace, Deepak’s story stands as a powerful reminder that failure is not the end—it is the first step toward success.
