Mr. Abhishek Bhaskar Wankhade completed his education in pharmacy and worked for a short period at a medical store. Despite a stable profession, his heart was not in the job. Coming from a farming family, he witnessed firsthand the relentless physical labour his parents endured in agriculture—a reality that deeply affected him.
Determined to carve a different path, Abhishek nurtured a quiet but persistent desire to build something of his own.
The Birth of a Unique Idea
Driven by the urge to create something new and meaningful, Abhishek took a bold step and founded Deva Pharmacist Chai Wala—a concept that blended simplicity with entrepreneurship. What began as a single initiative soon transformed into an opportunity not only for him but also for many like-minded friends.
He actively supported several fellow pharmacists and young entrepreneurs by helping them set up their own Deva Pharmacist Chai Wala outlets.
Rapid Growth Across States 
In a remarkably short span of time, the brand expanded rapidly. Today, Deva Pharmacist Chai Wala operates 20 branches, not only across Akola but extending as far as Gujarat. The brand has become a symbol of how determination and innovative thinking can turn an everyday product like tea into a scalable business model.
Success Measured Beyond Money
For Abhishek, success is not defined by personal wealth. Instead, he takes immense pride in the fact that his venture provides employment to nearly 50 people, helping families earn a dignified livelihood.
He believes that a business which positively impacts lives is far more valuable than one that focuses only on profit.
