Shubham Surendra Pawar was born in 1994, the same year his father, the late Surendra Balkrishna Pawar, made a life-changing decision. Leaving behind a stable job at Hotel Blue Diamond, Surendra Pawar chose the uncertain path of entrepreneurship and laid the foundation of Suryanarayan Caterers.
Like most new ventures, the early years were filled with struggle—financial pressure, long working hours, and constant uncertainty. Yet, he never wavered. His determination quietly shaped the values that would later guide his son.
A Reluctant Beginning
As a young man, Shubham never imagined stepping into the catering business. Strong-willed and independent, he focused on his education and even worked as a painter during his college years to meet his personal expenses. At the time, he barely understood the depth of sacrifice his parents were making.
Meanwhile, his father endured social taunts and emotional stress, often hearing that his son would never take responsibility. These words hurt, but they never broke the family’s spirit.
Choosing Responsibility 
At a turning point in his youth, Shubham made a quiet but decisive choice—he began supporting his father in the business. That decision brought immense emotional relief to his parents. For the first time, they felt assured that their legacy would continue.
Under his father’s guidance, Shubham learned the foundations of the trade: managing labor, handling clients, understanding quality control, and most importantly, running a business with honesty and discipline.
A Sudden Tragedy
In 2014, tragedy struck without warning. Shubham’s father passed away in his sleep due to a sudden heart attack. Shubham was just 20 years old. Overnight, the weight of responsibility fell entirely on his shoulders.
The initial years were harsh. Many clients doubted his ability because of his age. Orders were scarce, trust was fragile, and survival itself felt uncertain.
Strength from Family and Self-Belief
Through those difficult years, Shubham found strength in his mother’s unwavering support and in the belief that his father’s guidance was still with him. Slowly, he adapted—modernising operations, improving service standards, and focusing deeply on customer satisfaction.
Persistence replaced doubt, and experience replaced fear.
Building Trust in Hadapsar, Pune
Today, Suryanarayan Caterers has earned a strong reputation in Pune’s Hadapsar area. The brand stands on trust so firm that many clients book services with a single phone call—sharing only the date, menu, and number of guests, confident that everything else will be handled flawlessly.
Shubham’s hands-on leadership, attention to detail, and respect for both customers and workers have created a loyal ecosystem of clients and team members.

Running the business is no longer just a responsibility—it is a source of pride and joy. With satisfied customers, supportive colleagues, and a growing brand name, Shubham Surendra Pawar continues to carry forward his father’s dream with dignity.
