Born into a farmer’s family, Pooja Wagh’s life journey has become a source of inspiration for thousands of young people, especially women. Through resilience, responsibility, and self-confidence, she not only transformed her own life but also established a distinct identity in the field of education through Delightful Learning Academy.
Early Responsibilities at a Young Age
During her college years, tragedy struck when she lost her father. His untimely demise marked the beginning of a difficult phase in her life. Despite the emotional trauma and increasing family responsibilities, Pooja refused to give up. She chose education as her strongest weapon and completed her studies with determination. That very determination later became the foundation of her success.
From Teacher to Education Entrepreneur
After completing her education, Pooja Wagh accepted a teaching position at a local school in her village. Alongside her job, she started coaching classes to guide students academically. While managing the financial responsibilities of her family, she viewed education not merely as employment but as a meaningful way to serve society.
Challenges During the Pandemic
Amid the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, Pooja married Dhananjay Wagh. The pandemic, financial instability, and the unfortunate demise of her father-in-law just months after her marriage made life even more demanding. However, she remained emotionally strong and became a pillar of support for her family during those testing times.
A Bold Step Toward Independence
When coaching classes were forced to shut down due to the pandemic, financial pressures increased. Instead of stepping back, Pooja made a courageous decision to move forward. Keeping in mind her family’s needs, her child’s education, and future responsibilities, she decided to start her own independent educational venture.
The Birth of Delightful Learning Academy
Without any prior recognition or political and social backing, Pooja Wagh established “Delightful Learning Academy” in the Khutwad Nagar area. Balancing home, family, motherhood, and entrepreneurship, she worked tirelessly to turn her vision into reality.
In its very first year, the academy enrolled more than 100 students from Grade 1 to Grade 10, marking an impressive beginning.
