Overcoming hardships and financial limitations, Tushar Vitthal Mandalik has created a lasting impact on society through Jijau Computers & Knowledge Institute and several educational and service initiatives. His journey stands as a source of inspiration for young entrepreneurs and innovators in the education sector.

Struggles and Early Beginnings

Tushar Mandalik began his entrepreneurial journey in 2012. Before that, from 2009 to 2012, he worked as an accountant at Alien Paints. Despite challenging work conditions and long hours, he made the bold decision to leave his job and start his own venture.

With limited financial resources and modest family circumstances, he started his classes in a small 10×10 room with mud walls. What began as a humble initiative gradually evolved into a recognized educational institution.

Commitment to Education and Growth

His educational initiative, which began in June 2011, provided coaching for students from Grade 1 to Grade 12. The early years were filled with challenges, but the positive response from students and parents encouraged him to continue.

In January 2012, he officially established Jijau Computers & Classes, launching a computer institute. The journey began with just three second-hand computers and five administrative staff members working on credit. As the number of students grew, the small space became insufficient.

By 2016, he shifted the institute to a rented, larger location to accommodate the increasing demand.

Resilience During the COVID-19 Pandemic

The COVID-19 pandemic posed significant challenges, including financial strain and rental issues. However, Tushar Mandalik refused to give up. He continued running the institute from his home to ensure that students’ education was not disrupted.

After the pandemic, with the support of family, colleagues, and students, he re-established Jijau Computers & Knowledge Institute at a new location with renewed energy and vision.

Notable Achievements 

Tushar Mandalik has received several prestigious awards at the national level for his excellence and innovation in education:

• 2018: Education Excellence Award

• 2019, 2020, 2021: Best Teacher Award (Three Consecutive Years)

• 2024: Growth Achiever Award (Nagpur)

• 2025: India’s Top 100 Institute Award

These recognitions highlight his consistent dedication and impact in the field of education.

Social Initiatives and Community Contributions

Beyond business success, Tushar Mandalik is deeply committed to social service. Through Saarthi Yuva Pratishthan and Naad Foundation, he has:

• Provided free computer education to over 350 students

• Offered courses at subsidized fees to underprivileged students along with job placement support

• Distributed approximately 600 free sanitary pads annually to girls through Naad Foundation

• Waived fees for 250 girls at a madrasa in Ojhar, helping them become computer literate
